Summer Term is free of charge for all students enrolled in English Preparatory Program. Summer Term classes will be held online on Blackboard (BB) platform between June the 19th and August the 11th, 2023.
If you were in Basic-R or Mid Level classes in the Spring Term, you don’t need to do anything to attend the Summer Term. Your names will be automatically added to the Summer Term class lists and BB because the Summer Term is compulsory for you.
If you were in Mid-R, High, High-R, Prof or Prof+ level classes in the Spring Term, Summer term education is optional for you. If you would like to attend the Summer Term, you must fill in the Summer Term Registration Form either by visiting Office 29 in FLED HALL OR sending the signed and scanned version of Summer Term Registration Form as an email to yabancidiller@istinye.edu.tr. You must sign and submit the form by June 14th, 2023, the latest. Late submissions will not be accepted.
All the students who attend the Summer Term (including the ones who attend optionally) must not fail from absenteeism or their grades to be eligible for ISTEP in August. In other words, you cannot take ISTEP in August if you fail from absenteeism or grades in the Summer Term.
Students who attend the Summer Term classes voluntarily (Mid-R, High, High-R, Prof or Prof+ classes in the Spring Term) agree to comply with the attendance and evaluation criteria of the Summer Term, too.
Students who do not attend the Summer Term from MidR, High, High-R, Prof or Prof+ levels in the Spring Term can take ISTEP in August without any restrictions.

The class lists for the Summer Term and books you will use will be announced next week. Do not buy your books until the class lists are announced.
ISTEP August will be administered on August the 18th, 2023 (Friday).
