Dear International Students,
The next ISTEP-IS (English Proficiency Exam for Newly-registered International Students) will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025. The exam is going to take place in FLED HALL LAB (20) at 14.15. There is no eligibility list; everyone registered after February 07 may join.
Students should be in their classrooms and ready to take the exams at least 30 minutes before the exam. Please bring exam materials such as a pencil, eraser, etc. You must also present an identity card (Student Card, National Identity Card, Passport, Driver's License, etc.) at the beginning of the exam.
On the exam date, you will take an online Cambridge Placement Test (CEPT Reading and Listening) at school. Also, you will take a writing exam (just after the computer one) to prove your Academic Writing skills. In the Writing Exam, you will be asked to write an academic essay composed of at least four paragraphs, including an introduction, two body paragraphs, and a conclusion. Your essays will be graded based on content, organization, coherence, vocabulary range and accuracy, grammatical range and accuracy, and punctuation. Please make sure to take both exams (CEPT and Writing) on the exam day. If you do not take both exams, your score will be calculated as 0.

P.S. If you were registered before February 07, you need to come to Office 29 in FLED HALL and sign up for the exam IN PERSON.
